European-American University To Honour Eminent Nigerians

THE management of European-American University Commonwealth of Dominica is billed to confer honourary doctorate awards on July 11, at the University of Lagos main auditorium to the following deserving Nigerian personalities for their outstanding roles in nation building:

Joe Okoli, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, His i Royal Highness, Umar Farouk Umar the Emir of Daura Katsina State, Mr. Tukur Jega, Executive Chairman Kebbi State Social Security Welfare Funds, Hon. Murtar Ramadam Yero Honourable Commission for Finance Kaduna - State.

According to the press release signed by Reverend Professor Afam Egbuta, Honourary Coordinator, West Africa of the University, others to be so honoured are: Sir. Ebisintei Awudu, Surveyor General, Bayelsa - State, Mohammed Yinusa, Group Managing Director Dunlop Nigeria Plc; Dr. Enoch Nwalazie Onyechi, Etehe Local Government Area River - State, Alhaji Nasiru Arab, clerk of National Assembly, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Ibrahim Garba, Commissioner for Project of Monetary and Evaluation Directorate, Kano, Mr Ahonsi Ohiren, Chairman Sim Properties Homes Ltd, Chief Solomon Ojolowo, Managing Director Chief Executive S. The president of the University, Professor John Kersey is expected to seal the conferment. Lagos State governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) among other State governors will be special guests of honoured.
